Prepper Camp is widely recognized as the #1 self-reliance, homesteading, off-grid living, and preparedness conference—anywhere. Each year, thousands gather to learn practical, hands-on skills that empower households to become more resilient, prepared, and confident in their ability to provide for themselves.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be attending Prepper Camp 2026, taking place August 14, 15, and 16, 2026, and I look forward to connecting with this incredible community once again.

What Makes Prepper Camp Different

Prepper Camp isn’t a lecture hall event—it’s an immersive experience designed around learning by doing. Attendees don’t just hear about preparedness; they see it, practice it, and live it throughout the weekend.

Everything is conveniently on site, creating a true community atmosphere where conversations and learning continue well beyond scheduled sessions.

Prepper Camp 2026 new venue features:

  • RV and camper sites
  • Full-service cabins
  • Nearby hotel accommodations
  • Tent camping (“Tent City”)
  • Multiple restaurants, food carts, and a general store
  • Vendors, instructors, and demonstrations across preparedness disciplines

This all-in-one setup allows attendees to focus on learning, networking, and skill-building—without the distraction of commuting or off-site logistics.

A New Venue Designed for a Bigger, Better Prepper Camp Experience

Prepper Camp 2026 will be held at an exciting new venue—the Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort in Mill Spring, North Carolina. This expansive, purpose-built destination offers significantly more space, improved infrastructure, and a wider range of on-site accommodations, making it an ideal home for a growing event like Prepper Camp. From RV and camper sites to tent camping, cabins, and nearby hotel rooms, the new location is designed to comfortably support attendees while keeping everything centralized and accessible. Due to the popularity of Prepper Camp and the convenience of having lodging, dining, vendors, and classes all in one place, attendees are strongly encouraged to reserve their accommodations as soon as possible. Spots for tents, RVs, and lodging are limited and will fill quickly.

Teaching Heritage Skills That Matter

As The Canning Diva®, my work has always centered around practical food skills that support long-term preparedness, household resilience, and sustainable living.

At Prepper Camp 2026, I’ll be focusing on:

  • Home canning fundamentals
  • Preservation as a preparedness skill
  • Heritage food crafts and traditional kitchen skills
  • How preserving food supports self-reliance from seed to table

These are skills that don’t rely on trends or technology—they’re rooted in history, safety-tested methods, and real-world application.

Specific class topics and schedules will be announced closer to the event, but my goal remains the same:
to help individuals and families gain confidence in preserving food safely and effectively for everyday life and emergency readiness alike.

Now Teaching: Preserving for Your Pets

This year at Prepper Camp 2026, I’ll also be teaching Preserving for Your Pets, a class rooted in the principles found in my book. Our pets depend on us—especially during emergencies, supply disruptions, or times when commercial pet food may be unavailable or compromised. I’ll walk attendees through how to safely prepare, preserve, and store species-appropriate meals for dogs and cats using proven home-preservation methods.

We’ll discuss protein and fat requirements, ingredients pets should never consume, and the safest techniques for preserving meats, broths, and whole-food meals through pressure canning, dehydration, freeze-drying, and freezing. Because preparedness doesn’t stop at the pantry shelf — it includes every member of your household. I’ll also have signed copies of Preserving for Your Pets and my other books available at the event.

Preparedness Starts in the Kitchen

Food security is one of the most overlooked aspects of preparedness. Knowing how to grow, preserve, and safely store food is just as important as having the right gear.

Prepper Camp brings together experts from across preparedness disciplines, and I’m honored to contribute a kitchen-based skill set that complements off-grid living, homesteading, and emergency planning.

Whether you’re new to canning or refining your skills, Prepper Camp offers an opportunity to learn alongside others who value preparedness as a way of life—not just a reaction.

Planning Ahead for Prepper Camp 2026

While August 2026 may feel far off, Prepper Camp has a history of selling out, and lodging options fill quickly due to the all-on-site experience.

Tickets and accommodations are now available, and I encourage anyone interested to begin planning early.
